Commis 2 - Pastry

Responsibilities

• Prepare, arrange, and serve all food according to sous chef standards
• Manage mise en place and workstation preparation daily
• Monitor cleanliness of kitchen areas and equipment
• Control portion sizes and presentation before service
• Assist Chef de Partie in daily duties and recipe recording
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and hotel policies
• Maintain effective communication with customers, co-workers, and supervisors

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or diploma/certification in Culinary arts
• Proven experience working in a 5* hotel or relevant industry role
• Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Passion for food and customer service excellence
