About the role
Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients for cooking including portioning, chopping, and storing food
- Wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables
- Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients according to recipes
- Prepare and cook food following quality and presentation standards
- Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers
- Monitor food quality and ensure proper cooking temperatures
- Set up and break down workstations
- Maintain cleanliness by washing and disinfecting kitchen areas, tools, and equipment
- Follow all company safety, security, and sanitation policies
Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- At least 1 year of related work experience
- Ability to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull objects weighing up to 25 pounds
