Commis Chef

Responsibilities

• Assist Chef de Partie and senior chefs with day-to-day food preparation
• Follow standardized recipes and prepare mise en place ahead of service
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of workstations, tools, and equipment
• Support with basic cooking tasks under supervision during service periods
• Report shortages or quality issues with ingredients to senior kitchen staff

Requirements

• Culinary diploma or equivalent hands-on kitchen experience preferred
• Basic understanding of food safety and kitchen hygiene practices
• Eagerness to learn and grow within a professional kitchen brigade
• Ability to follow instructions precisely and work well within a team
• Physical stamina to handle long, active shifts on your feet
