Responsibilities

• Prepare special meals, substitute items, and cold foods according to recipes and quality standards
• Regulate temperatures of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters
• Manage food storage including thawing processes and maintaining food logs
• Ensure proper portioning, arrangement, and food garnish
• Monitor food quality and quantity and communicate assistance needs during busy periods
• Inform Chef of excess items and inform service staff of menu specials or out-of-stock items
• Follow all company safety, security, and hygiene policies
• Maintain professional appearance and protect company assets
• Support team goals and maintain positive working relationships

Requirements

• At least 3 years of related work experience
• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
• Physical ability to reach overhead, bend, twist, pull, and stoop
• Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 25 pounds

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree
