About the role
Responsibilities
- Prepare breads and pastries, including doughs, fillings, proofing, baking, and decorating
- Follow recipes, quality standards, and food prep checklists
- Maintain kitchen logs for food safety program compliance
- Use baking and measuring tools and equipment safely
- Monitor food quality and portion sizes throughout the shift
- Ensure compliance with food safety handling and personal hygiene policies
- Assist management with training and coaching employees
- Maintain professional appearance and clean uniform
Requirements
- At least 2 years of related work experience
- Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds
- Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
- Ability to work on sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree
