Responsibilities

• Assist the head chef in the preparation and service of all kitchen sections
• Practice basic food hygiene according to company guidelines and Daily Diligence Diary
• Communicate stock levels, best working practices, and quality control information to team members
• Ensure food preparation and levels meet quality and quantity standards
• Control food storage to minimize spoilage and wastage
• Exercise portion control to minimize cost impact
• Follow standard operating procedures and set recipes

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Commis Chef in a 3-star or above category hotel
• Background in the hotel or F&B industry
• Degree in Culinary Arts is an advantage
• Advanced English language skills
• Experience working with multi-cultural teams
• Ability to work under pressure with great attention to detail
