About the role
Responsibilities
- Define and drive the long-term Community Experience strategy
- Manage and develop the Community Program Specialist and Community Operations Associate
- Act as the primary point of contact for Community-related initiatives across the organization
- Own reporting on Community engagement, member satisfaction, and program impact
- Set the roadmap for major strategic initiatives like ambassador programs and knowledge hubs
- Manage the Community experience function's budget
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in community management, program or operations management, or a related field
- At least 2 years in a people-management or team-lead capacity
- Proven experience setting strategy and translating it into an executable roadmap
- Hands-on understanding of online community platforms (e.g., Discourse, Circle, Slack, Discord)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building or scaling community-led growth or ambassador programs
- Experience with data visualization or engagement analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
- Background in budget management
- Knowledge of behavioral psychology or engagement strategies
- Experience operating in a multi-market, distributed organization
