About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage and moderate large social media communities, fostering connections and collaboration
- Review and approve community messaging and UGC to ensure compliance with regulations like HIPAA and FINRA
- Act as the primary liaison between the organization, community, and internal legal/compliance partners
- Design and execute long-term community programs such as user forums and advisory boards
- Track engagement metrics and community health to optimize strategies and workflows
- Identify trending conversations, memes, and platform trends to keep the brand culturally relevant
Requirements
- 3-5+ years of experience in community management, PR, or digital strategy
- Proven experience establishing and growing virtual communities, ideally in regulated sectors
- Deep understanding of data privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA) and industry-specific compliance standards
- Ability to distill complex legal or technical concepts into engaging community language
- Strong interpersonal skills and passion for storytelling for Gen Z and Millennial audiences
