Job description

Responsibilities

  • Monitor, moderate, and actively engage with the user community across Google Chat, Discord, and other forums
  • Identify and escalate complex issues, bugs, and feature requests to internal product and engineering teams
  • Gather and synthesize community feedback, trends, and sentiment to inform product development
  • Prepare regular reports on community health, engagement metrics, and key discussion topics
  • Partner with Marketing, Product, and Developer Relations to create and distribute engaging content
  • Uphold and enforce community guidelines to ensure respectful interactions
  • Build relationships with power users and community advocates
  • Assist in promoting community-focused events like webinars and AMAs

Requirements

  • Proven experience in community management or social media management, preferably in tech or SaaS
  • Strong project management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts
  • Experience using community platforms like Discord and Google Chat
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Proactive problem-solver with a user-focused mindset
  • Fluency in English

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Google Workspace products
  • Understanding of automation concepts, AI, or workflow tools
  • Experience working with developer or technical communities
  • Experience with community analytics and reporting
  • Familiarity with support ticket systems or bug tracking tools
  • Experience creating content for technical or business audiences
