About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide legal and regulatory guidance on HIPAA, Medicare, Medicaid, and state healthcare requirements
- Translate complex regulations into actionable policies and systems
- Partner across teams to assess regulatory risks and advise on compliance for new products and workflows
- Embed compliance directly into operational processes
- Conduct compliance reviews and audits
- Draft policies and training materials
- Review vendor agreements
- Support investigations and monitor regulatory developments
Requirements
- J.D. degree
- Active bar admission in at least one U.S. state
- 3–6 years of experience in compliance or regulatory legal practice
- Experience in healthcare preferred
