CourseCareers is an online education platform that helps people launch new careers without a college degree or prior experience. We partner with industry professionals to create job-focused courses that teach practical, employer-aligned skills across technology, business, construction, and the trades.

Responsibilities

• Host a live, one-hour workshop on a monthly basis
• Answer student questions related to construction estimating and the job search
• Share real-world insight into what entry-level estimating roles actually look like
• Explain how estimating works in real construction environments
• Discuss common tools, workflows, and expectations
• Provide optional 1:1 coaching to students who request it

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional construction estimating experience
• Experience estimating for GCs, subcontractors, or specialty trades
• Familiarity with estimating tools such as Excel, PlanSwift, Bluebeam, or ProEst
• Strong understanding of entry-level roles like Estimating Assistant or Junior Estimator
• Strong communication and teaching ability
• Availability at least three evenings per week, ideally Tuesday–Thursday
