Consultant Sales Manager

Responsibilities

• Create demand for Controls solutions early in the project lifecycle and position solutions from the specification stage
• Develop opportunities across key vertical markets and strategic customer segments
• Build trusted relationships with consultants, contractors, developers, end users, and A&E firms
• Prepare and deliver technical seminars, presentations, and product demonstrations
• Work with R&D, Training, Product Management, and Technical Support to support proposals and feedback
• Maintain accurate records of opportunities, quotes, projects, and contacts in CRM systems

Requirements

• 8-10 years of sales or business development experience in BMS products
• Mandatory experience with systems design and technical knowledge of Controls
• Proven ability to secure product specifications from end users, consultants, and installers
• Strong presentation, persuasion, and communication skills
• Experience in strategic planning, marketing, and market research
• High level prospecting skills and ability to identify decision makers
• Ability to work independently as an individual contributor while collaborating cross-functionally
• Flexibility to travel across the country
