About the role
Responsibilities
- Find and respond to federal opportunities, focusing on small business and 8(a) set-asides
- Write, assemble, and submit proposals at high volume
- Manage contracts after award, including agency point of contact, modifications, compliance, and reporting
- Spend about a quarter of time on teaming and partnership outreach
- Work with recruiting team to staff new awards
- Use AI tools to work faster
Requirements
- 3+ years in federal contracting (contracts management, proposal writing, capture, or program management)
- Solid understanding of the FAR, set-aside programs, and federal procurement process
- Comfortable with AI tools, or eager to become a power user
Preferred Qualifications
- Existing network of agency or contractor relationships
