Contracts & Procurement Officer

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and maintain commercial and contractual arrangements
• Review RFI and RFP bid solicitations and prepare cost proposals
• Negotiate and administer contracts and cooperative agreements
• Monitor financial activity of prime and sub-contracts
• Ensure compliance with federal authorities and internal policies
• Purchase goods and services from local and international sources
• Analyze vendor quotations and prepare bid summaries
• Expedite orders to ensure timely delivery
• Liaise with vendors regarding discrepancies and damage reports

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business or a similar major
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience
• Basic knowledge of contracts and procurement tasks
• Excellent computer skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a government or higher education institution
• Knowledge of purchasing procedures
• Bilingual in Arabic and English
