About the role
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and maintain commercial and contractual arrangements
- Review RFI and RFP bid solicitations and prepare cost proposals
- Negotiate and administer contracts and cooperative agreements
- Monitor financial activity of prime and sub-contracts
- Ensure compliance with federal authorities and internal policies
- Purchase goods and services from local and international sources
- Analyze vendor quotations and prepare bid summaries
- Expedite orders to ensure timely delivery
- Liaise with vendors regarding discrepancies and damage reports
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business or a similar major
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience
- Basic knowledge of contracts and procurement tasks
- Excellent computer skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a government or higher education institution
- Knowledge of purchasing procedures
- Bilingual in Arabic and English
