About the role
Responsibilities
- Directly manage a General Ledger manager, Treasury Manager and a Senior Accountant
- Manage the monthly close process and ensure deadlines are met while ensuring US GAAP compliance
- Oversee financial statement consolidation, foreign currency translation and intercompany eliminations
- Manage and review monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Oversee treasury and cash management across multiple banking platforms
- Support annual and interim US audits and lender reporting
- Research technical accounting topics and draft internal accounting memos
- Develop and implement efficient accounting procedures
Requirements
- BS in Finance, Accounting or related field
- 7+ years of applicable experience, preferably 2+ years in management
- Thorough knowledge of US GAAP
- Proficiency with MS Office, particularly Excel
- Ability to shift priorities and meet strict deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
- CPA highly preferred
- Experience with Deltek Costpoint
