About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead the origination and execution of M&A (buy-side and sell-side), joint ventures and partnerships transactions
- Execute live transactions for inbound and outbound investments for strategic and financial investors
- Evaluate key deal issues and potential deal breakers
- Negotiate pricing and review key commercial terms to structure deals
- Lead the preparation of pitches and deal origination
- Interact with senior management and business owners to understand business performance and commercial issues
- Provide credible valuation analysis to help boards make informed decisions
- Train and develop junior team members
Requirements
- Significant experience in accounting, corporate finance, investment banking, or corporate strategy
- Strong M&A experience and an active network of clients
- Solid technical abilities in financial analysis, valuation, and financial modeling
- Proven ability to manage project workflows and deliver on time
- Flexibility to travel within the Middle East region and occasionally internationally
- Qualifications such as CFA, CPA, CA, or MBA are highly regarded
