About the role
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts including vendor agreements, MSAs, SOWs, and NDAs
- Advise on corporate structuring and governance across UAE and European entities
- Manage regulatory compliance including GDPR and UAE data protection laws
- Support contractor and employment agreements and cross-border worker classification
- Advise on vendor/supplier disputes and contractual escalations
- Support fundraising, investment, or M&A-related legal work
- Liaise with external counsel and maintain corporate records and board resolutions
- Proactively flag legal and regulatory risks to leadership
Requirements
- Law degree and active bar admission/license in UAE and/or a European jurisdiction
- 5–8 years of corporate/commercial legal experience
- Experience with cross-border contracts and multi-jurisdictional compliance
- Working knowledge of GDPR and UAE data protection frameworks
- Experience advising on contractor vs. employee classification
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in technology, cloud infrastructure, or AI/GPU-related industries
- Experience working with Deel or similar EOR/contractor management platforms
