About the role
Responsibilities
- Own product cost master data in the ERP, including BOM maintenance and validation
- Maintain accurate standard costs for all SKUs across legal entities
- Simulate and monitor landed costs, including freight and duty tracking
- Reconcile inventory between ERP and 3PLs and investigate discrepancies
- Reconcile production plans and stock with contract manufacturers
- Prepare monthly cost and inventory reporting packs, including GMVA and valuation
- Perform variance analysis on standard versus actual costs
- Support COGS forecast cycles and month-end close processes
- Define and maintain SOPs for cost and inventory processes
- Identify and deliver margin improvement opportunities
- Lead cost input for supply chain and sourcing initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/CMA preferred)
- 7+ years of experience in cost accounting and financial analysis, preferably in CPG or manufacturing
- Solid knowledge of standard costing, BOM structures, and inventory management
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling and budgeting
- Experience with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics/MRP preferred) and advanced Excel
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
- Proactive problem-solving approach to cost optimization
