Cost Controller

Responsibilities

• Own product cost master data in the ERP, including BOM maintenance and validation
• Maintain accurate standard costs for all SKUs across legal entities
• Simulate and monitor landed costs, including freight and duty tracking
• Reconcile inventory between ERP and 3PLs and investigate discrepancies
• Reconcile production plans and stock with contract manufacturers
• Prepare monthly cost and inventory reporting packs, including GMVA and valuation
• Perform variance analysis on standard versus actual costs
• Support COGS forecast cycles and month-end close processes
• Define and maintain SOPs for cost and inventory processes
• Identify and deliver margin improvement opportunities
• Lead cost input for supply chain and sourcing initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/CMA preferred)
• 7+ years of experience in cost accounting and financial analysis, preferably in CPG or manufacturing
• Solid knowledge of standard costing, BOM structures, and inventory management
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling and budgeting
• Experience with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics/MRP preferred) and advanced Excel
• Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
• Proactive problem-solving approach to cost optimization
