About the role
Responsibilities
- Advise on laws and regulations governing prepaid, debit, and credit card products
- Monitor regulatory developments and collaborate with sponsor banks and customers
- Partner with cross-functional teams to assess legal risks and recommend mitigation strategies
- Support the launch of new products and features
- Manage outside counsel as needed
Requirements
- JD degree and active State Bar membership
- At least 5 years of experience practicing law in fintech, banking, or a reputable law firm
- Deep expertise in the payments ecosystem
- Strong business acumen and advanced problem-solving skills
