About the role
Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with daily patient documentation and progress notes
- Transcribe and organize physician dictations into structured clinical notes
- Review and summarize patient concerns, vital signs, lab results, and diagnostic data
- Navigate and update patient records within the PCC EMR system
- Provide real-time clinical support during patient rounding
- Maintain strict HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality
Requirements
- Strong clinical background with experience in medical documentation
- Deep understanding of medical terminology and patient care workflows
- Proven experience using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems
- Ability to interpret physician dictation with minimal supervision
- Excellent written English communication skills
- Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced medical environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Licensed Medical Doctor (MD)
- Prior experience as a Medical Scribe or Clinical Documentation Specialist
- Familiarity with patient rounding workflows
