About the role
Responsibilities
- Monitor and organize the owner's business inbox
- Identify incoming supplier invoices and forward them to bookkeeping software
- Review supplier statements against records in Xero
- Mark applicable invoices as paid using the correct payment date
- Monitor client identification records and expiration dates
- Assist with recurring anti-money-laundering and client-administration requirements
- Support social media scheduling and small marketing initiatives
Requirements
- Previous bookkeeping, accounting administration, or finance-support experience
- Proficiency in Xero and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace
- Strong written English skills
- High attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to handle confidential financial information
- Experience with UK businesses or accounting practices is a plus
