About the role
Responsibilities
- Prepare and format patient notes based on established templates and workflows
- Transfer relevant medical information into required documentation
- Review and organize medications, vitals, and other clinical details
- Assist with preparing notes for provider review
- Maintain accurate and complete documentation
- Flag clinically relevant findings, inconsistencies, or questions for provider review
- Support documentation for an average of approximately 20 patients per day
- Organize patient-related files and records
- Follow client-provided documentation and compliance procedures
- Complete required client training modules
Requirements
- Medical, clinical, healthcare, or medical-scribe experience strongly preferred
- Medical terminology knowledge strongly preferred
- Strong typing and data-entry ability required
- Strong attention to detail required
- Experience with EMRs/EHRs is a plus
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality required
- Strong written English
- Comfortable learning medical software and documentation systems
