About the role
Responsibilities
- Create social media posts and graphics from approved book quotes, photos and brand materials
- Develop and maintain a content schedule for Instagram and Facebook
- Write engaging captions and lightly edit provided video clips
- Monitor comments and messages during assigned hours and flag items needing client attention
- Organize grant opportunities, deadlines and requirements
- Assist with refining and compiling grant application materials
Requirements
- Social media content creation and publishing experience
- Strong written English and caption-writing skills
- Canva or comparable design software experience
- Facebook and Instagram familiarity
- Google Docs or Microsoft Word, Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic short-form video editing
- Grant application or administrative writing experience
- Experience supporting authors, coaches or personal brands
