About the role
Responsibilities
- Assist in financial analysis, credit risk assessment, risk rating, and structuring of facilities for assigned corporate relationships
- Prepare Credit Proposals (CPs) including new applications, annual renewals, and amendments
- Liaise with Wholesale Risk Management (WRM) and Compliance to resolve risk and compliance queries
- Review deals and facility structures to provide business solutions within risk guidelines
- Meet clients and stakeholders as required for business purposes
- Monitor borrowing patterns and account conduct to ensure effective portfolio management and identify early warning signals
- Independently manage assigned relationship portfolios
Requirements
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in credit or financial analysis within banking or a related field
- Degree in Business or Economics
- UAE National status required
- Strong understanding of local banking laws, regulations, and AML requirements
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- Proficiency in local market products and operating systems
Preferred Qualifications
- Post graduate diploma or Chartered Accountancy qualification
- Arabic language proficiency
