Data Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage scalable and efficient data pipelines using tools like Snowflake, Airflow, dbt, and Fivetran.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
• Implement and enforce robust data governance policies.
• Develop and maintain ELT processes.
• Optimize SQL queries.
• Partner with data analysts, data scientists, analytics engineers, and stakeholders.
• Diagnose and resolve data-related issues.
• Build a cutting-edge development environment and CI/CD system.
• Ingest data from various external systems via APIs.
• Stay informed on industry trends and emerging technologies.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Hands-on experience with cloud-based data warehouses.
• Proficiency in designing efficient database schemas.
• Familiarity with tools like Apache Airflow.
• Experience with data streaming and Change Data Capture (CDC).
• Proficiency in Terraform and GitHub Actions.
• Experience in setting up PII anonymization and RBAC.
• Strong ability to work with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Kubernetes.
• Prior experience managing data warehouses.
• Familiarity with GDPR or similar data privacy regulations.
