Data Platform Engineer

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of the data platform
• Collaborate with analytics engineers, data scientists, business analysts, and software engineers
• Work in a collaborative, inclusive, and results-oriented culture

Requirements

• Proficiency in at least one language: Scala, Java, Python, or Go
• Strong SQL skills
• Knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and application scalability
• Experience with distributed processing frameworks
• Containerization experience with Docker or Kubernetes
• Experience with CI/CD (continuous integration, development, and testing)
• Workflow orchestration using Airflow, Luigi, DBT, or Dataform
• Experience with Cloud solutions

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building data warehouse, data lake, or data lakehouse environments
• Experience building data platforms
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Puppet)
• Experience with AWS or Google Cloud Platform
