About the role
Responsibilities
- Own the technical architecture and solution direction for client engagements
- Design Microsoft Fabric, Azure, Databricks, and hybrid analytics platforms
- Architect data integration, Lakehouse, data warehouse, and semantic modeling solutions
- Lead discovery sessions, architecture workshops, and solution design discussions
- Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
- Establish approaches for data quality, source control, CI/CD, and operational readiness
- Design data foundations that support Microsoft Copilot, AI agents, and RAG solutions
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or business intelligence
- Experience leading architecture and technical delivery for client-facing consulting
- Experience designing and delivering Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Services, and Databricks
- Advanced knowledge of dimensional modeling and Power BI architecture
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Microsoft Fabric certification
- Experience with Microsoft Purview for data cataloging and governance
- AI and agent architecture experience (Copilots, RAG)
- Experience modernizing Azure Data Factory or Azure Synapse Analytics
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
