Data/Business Analyst

Responsibilities

• Understand business drivers and identify opportunities where analytics can create significant value
• Explore data sources, conduct exploratory data analysis, and create features for analytics
• Translate business problems into tangible analytics requirements and recommend data-driven solutions
• Collaborate with stakeholders to propose and evaluate actions for performance improvements
• Conduct research and articulate meaningful insights to accelerate business growth
• Build visualizations and dashboards to communicate analytics results to stakeholders
• Develop data solutions ranging from on-demand queries to machine learning models
• Manage end-to-end solution delivery and stakeholder relationships

Requirements

• Degree in Business Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Engineering, or related disciplines
• 4+ years of experience in data analytics
• Solid knowledge in data wrangling using Python
• Experience in cloud computing (GCP, AWS) and big data computation frameworks (Spark)
• Knowledge of predictive, prescriptive, and machine learning techniques
• Working knowledge in building visualizations and dashboards
• Ability to navigate complex environments and articulate data deliverables clearly

Preferred Qualifications

• Related accreditation via MOOC or other educational institutions
• Experience in Qlikview or Qlik Sense
• Banking domain or Wealth product knowledge
