Dean of the College of Business Administration

Responsibilities

• Provide visionary and strategic leadership to advance the College's mission in teaching, research, and community engagement
• Serve as the chief academic and administrative officer of the College
• Lead curriculum development, program innovation, and periodic academic reviews
• Ensure compliance with national accreditation standards (e.g., UAE CAA) and lead international accreditation efforts (AACSB, EQUIS, etc.)
• Recruit, mentor, and retain highly qualified faculty and staff
• Promote a culture of research, creative scholarship, and innovation
• Manage the College's budget, resources, and infrastructure sustainably
• Build partnerships with government agencies, NGOs, and the private sector
• Uphold the highest standards of academic integrity and ethical scholarship

Requirements

• Doctoral degree (PhD or equivalent) in business administration, management, economics, or a related field
• Academic credentials and scholarly record suitable for appointment at the rank of Full Professor
• Significant senior leadership experience in higher education (Dean, Associate Dean, or Department Chair)
• Proven expertise in strategic planning, governance, and budget management
• In-depth knowledge of national and international accreditation standards
• Demonstrated success in securing research funding and building external partnerships
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with the higher education landscape in the UAE, GCC, or MENA region
