About the role
Responsibilities
- Draft polished and accurate demand packages following firm SOPs
- Review medical records, bills, liens, and treatment history for accuracy
- Negotiate settlements with insurance adjusters to maximize outcomes
- Negotiate medical lien reductions with providers
- Manage case progression through the post-treatment demand stage
- Maintain detailed documentation and file hygiene in MyCase
- Use AI tools strategically to improve drafting efficiency while verifying all outputs
- Prepare organized files for litigation handoff when settlements are not achieved
Requirements
- Direct experience in personal injury demand drafting and settlement negotiations
- Experience reviewing and negotiating medical liens
- Proficiency with MyCase or similar legal CRM systems
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to advocate for higher settlement values
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Ability to work independently with high accountability and minimal supervision
- Strategic judgment in using AI tools for legal drafting
- Litigation exposure is strongly preferred
