About the role
About the Company
Swoop Technologies is building SwoopOS, a distributed operating system designed to organize and make accessible the world’s military and critical infrastructure. By decomposing equipment into a distributed robotic embodiment, Swoop enables the deployment of autonomous systems and agentic AI in the physical world.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and execute software deployments across staging, testing, and production environments
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines
- Monitor and troubleshoot deployment processes to ensure smooth execution
- Automate deployment tasks to increase efficiency
- Perform post-deployment testing to ensure functionality and performance
- Work with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI) to manage configurations
- Ensure compliance with security and operational standards
- Provide regular status updates on deployment progress and risks
Requirements
- Active US Top Secret Security clearance
- 3-5+ years experience delivering or operating technology in DoD network environments
- Strong grasp of OSI networking principles
- Expertise with CI/CD tools, containerization, version control, and infrastructure automation
- Ability to travel up to 50%
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
- Experience with Python, C, Rust, or Assembly
- Scripting experience in Bash, Python, or PowerShell
- Knowledge of Distributed Systems, Embedded Systems, or Bare Metal environments
- Experience administering RTOS, Linux, or Windows
- Knowledge of database deployment strategies
What we look for
- Active US Top Secret Security clearance
- 3-5+ years experience in DoD network environments
- Strong OSI networking knowledge
- Experience with CI/CD and containerization
- Ability to travel up to 50%
