About the role
About the Company
Wynn Al Marjan Island will be the first integrated resort in the UAE. Set to open in 2027, the resort will be located in the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, offering luxury rooms, restaurants, a theater, and a beach club.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Stage Manager with managing daily performances and rehearsals
- Run rehearsals, including calling cues in show-like conditions
- Manage technical elements including lifts, winches, scenic elements, and illusions
- Support performer management, safety, and apparatus coordination
- Produce and distribute daily rehearsal and cast line-up schedules
- Maintain the Stage Management bible and technical documentation
- Implement and rehearse safety procedures with the Stage Management team
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum of four years of management experience as a Deputy Stage Manager for large-scale theatrical productions
- Experience with automated systems, automation, and rigging
- Knowledge of lighting, audio, and carpentry
- Ability to read music
- Ability to direct, motivate, and discipline performers under pressure
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience working with illusions
