Design Copywriter

Responsibilities

• Shape Recraft's tone of voice and evolve brand voice guidelines
• Write launch copy for social media (X, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, Discord) and release announcements
• Write scripts and copy for motion videos, tutorials, and interviews
• Write SEO-optimized articles for the blog
• Write UX copy for Recraft Studio (onboarding, tooltips, feature descriptions)
• Name new models, features, and products
• Test new models in Recraft Studio to write from first-hand experience

Requirements

• Design background (graphic, brand, type, UI, or editorial) with writing as a main craft, or a writer with deep design knowledge
• Excellent written English (C2 or equivalent)
• Portfolio of published work (articles, blog, newsletter, or product copy)
• Ability to write across a range of formats (from button labels to long-form articles)
• Hands-on experience with AI tools
• Curiosity about the design world and its trends

Preferred Qualifications

• Personal blog, newsletter, or Substack about design, ability, or AI
• SEO writing experience
• UX writing or content design experience
• Naming experience
• Scriptwriting for video or motion
• Experience at a design tool, creative tech company, or design studio
