About the Company

Kick is an applied AI company building the first self-driving bookkeeping experience. We’re combining machine and tax code to automate the business finances for 60M entrepreneurs.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Design, Engineering and Growth teams
• Build performant beautiful, responsive websites and landing pages
• Help build and maintain Kick's design system
• Implement creative animations and interactions in code
• Develop special projects to elevate Kick’s brand

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in software engineering with a focus on front-end development
• Strong familiarity with React and TypeScript
• Strong sense for user experience and feel
• High attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Collaborative mindset and openness to feedback
• Portfolio showcasing technical skills, creative use of code, and prototyping (Webflow, microsites, WebGL, etc.)
• B2+ English level for verbal communication

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in startups or during growth stages
• Experience building a startup or working as a founding engineer
• Experience with modern frontend libraries like TanStack Query
• Experience in SMB, SaaS, or fintech
