About the role
Responsibilities
- Design, build, maintain and optimise CI/CD pipelines
- Automate application build, testing and deployment processes
- Manage source-code and version-control workflows using Git/GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket
- Deploy, configure and maintain cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code solutions using Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation
- Build and manage containerised applications using Docker and Kubernetes
- Implement and maintain system monitoring, logging and alerting
- Apply DevSecOps principles throughout development and deployment processes
- Collaborate with developers and technical stakeholders
Requirements
- Diploma, Degree or relevant qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field
- 3+ years' experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Systems Engineering, Infrastructure or a related technical role
- Practical experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- Experience working with cloud environments
- Strong Linux and scripting knowledge
- Experience with Docker and/or Kubernetes
- Experience with Git-based development workflows
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- AWS, Azure or GCP certification
- Terraform certification
- Kubernetes certification
- Experience with DevSecOps
- Experience with microservices and API-based architectures
- Experience with automated testing and deployment
- Experience working within Agile/Scrum environments
