Director, Accounting (Breakage Operations)

Responsibilities

• Manage development, implementation and maintenance of accounting systems including GL, AR, AP and revenue reconciliation
• Ensure compliance with financial transaction recording standards and GAAP
• Perform reconciliations of accounts, balance sheet, P&L and bank accounts
• Prepare management and compliance financial reports and consolidations
• Lead breakage operations, escheatment and state unclaimed property compliance
• Review and recommend accounting policy and internal control changes
• Participate in annual audits and manage direct reports

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and work experience
• 8+ years of relevant accounting experience
• Knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
