About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a strategic vision for the CETL that aligns with the university's mission and goals
- Promote a culture of teaching excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement
- Design and deliver professional development programs, workshops, and resources
- Collaborate with academic departments to integrate innovative teaching methods and technology-enhanced learning
- Lead initiatives to integrate emerging educational technologies and digital tools
- Develop and implement assessment strategies to evaluate the effectiveness of teaching and learning initiatives
Requirements
- Terminal degree (Ph.D., Ed.D., or equivalent) in education, instructional design, or a related field
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in higher education
- Proven track record in faculty development and educational leadership
- Experience with curriculum design and educational technology
- Bilingual fluency in Arabic and English
- Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS)
