About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Client Executives owning C-suite and HR relationships and renewals
- Set priorities, workload, and account assignments across the team
- Own retention, renewal, and expansion performance for the strategic book of business
- Serve as executive relationship owner for key benefits consultants and brokers
- Build and execute a proactive consultant-relations strategy
- Serve as escalation point for strategic accounts with Clinical, Operations and Day-to-Day Client Management
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience
- 10+ years progressive strategic account management, client success, or sales in PBM, health plan, or managed care
- 3+ years leading a team of account executives, account managers, or client success professionals
- Track record of retention, renewal and revenue growth on complex accounts (3,000+ covered lives)
- Relationships with benefits consultants and brokers
- Understanding of PBM economics, contract structures, and performance guarantees
