About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead the compliance team and develop staff skills, training and standards
- Design and manage risk management processes for bank products and loan portfolio compliance
- Direct loss prevention processes using Power BI reporting and due diligence activities
- Lead compliance reviews and enhance internal controls and reporting
- Advise tax division leadership, BSA/AML operations and business risk groups
- Oversee independently owned Tax Offices for due diligence practices
- Develop and enhance risk management policies and procedures
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and work experience
- Minimum 5 years leadership experience managing compliance programs
- Experience in banking, tax financial products or consumer financial services
- Experience working with regulators, auditors and BSA/AML operations teams
- Fair Lending oversight experience (ECOA, disparate impact testing)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) designation
