Director, Corporate Communications

Responsibilities

• Own the earned media agenda including product launches and corporate announcements
• Build a pipeline of tier-one tech, business, and AI trade coverage
• Develop technical spokespeople through bylines, panels, and speaking programs
• Manage issues and crisis communications
• Oversee employee communications and company-wide channels
• Develop employer brand campaigns in partnership with the People team
• Manage and scale a global Corporate Communications team and PR agency
• Build operational workflows and prioritization frameworks for the function
• Implement AI-assisted monitoring and measurement workflows

Requirements

• 12+ years in corporate communications with experience in both external and internal communications
• 3+ years of experience leading teams and agencies
• Deep B2B tech knowledge, ideally in AI, cloud, or data infrastructure
• Player-coach leadership style with hands-on execution skills
• Demonstrated AI fluency and ability to use AI tools in communications practice
• Proven track record of building media relationships and running PR campaigns
• Experience with crisis and change communications
• Experience building within global growth-stage technology companies

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience navigating a category transition or corporate repositioning
• Combination of agency and in-house experience
