About the role
Responsibilities
- Own the earned media agenda including product launches and corporate announcements
- Build a pipeline of tier-one tech, business, and AI trade coverage
- Develop technical spokespeople through bylines, panels, and speaking programs
- Manage issues and crisis communications
- Oversee employee communications and company-wide channels
- Develop employer brand campaigns in partnership with the People team
- Manage and scale a global Corporate Communications team and PR agency
- Build operational workflows and prioritization frameworks for the function
- Implement AI-assisted monitoring and measurement workflows
Requirements
- 12+ years in corporate communications with experience in both external and internal communications
- 3+ years of experience leading teams and agencies
- Deep B2B tech knowledge, ideally in AI, cloud, or data infrastructure
- Player-coach leadership style with hands-on execution skills
- Demonstrated AI fluency and ability to use AI tools in communications practice
- Proven track record of building media relationships and running PR campaigns
- Experience with crisis and change communications
- Experience building within global growth-stage technology companies
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience navigating a category transition or corporate repositioning
- Combination of agency and in-house experience
