About the role
Responsibilities
- Own development and monitoring of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts and month-end reporting for R&D
- Support CFO with multi-year strategic financial plan and Board materials
- Own trial-level clinical cost models and key study assumptions
- Lead the R&D quarterly forecast cycle with clinical and program leaders
- Partner with Accounting on R&D month-end close and variance analysis
- Evaluate CRO and vendor proposals and contracts against forecast and cash flow
- Provide business and financial analysis and decision support to leadership
- Build reports, analytics and monthly R&D financial reviews
Requirements
- 7+ years in FP&A, investment banking or consulting
- Advanced Excel and complex modeling skills
- Strong written and verbal communication in a virtual environment
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- BA or BS degree required
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or similar Masters
- Biotech or pharmaceutical industry experience
- Experience with Adaptive, Coupa and NetSuite
