About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage and leverage customer flow to deliver the assigned budget
- Generate P&L with detailed knowledge of base and precious metals markets
- Enhance Commodity desk capabilities and grow the Metals franchise
- Establish relationships with key clients and counterparties
- Price, execute, and risk manage client flow
- Perform Base & Precious Metals Derivatives Market Making
- Manage risk positions within applicable limits and monitor the global commodity book
- Collaborate with sales on trading and hedging ideas
Requirements
- Minimum 7 years' experience in commodity trading, specifically in Base and Precious Metals
- Strong knowledge of commodity markets, trading platforms, and trading systems
- Demonstrable track record of managing commodities risk
- Strong analytic background
- Bachelor's Degree
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven track record in running risk specifically in Base and Precious Metals
