Director of Finance

Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and manage financial strategies aligned with the company's vision
• Lead the development and implementation of financial and accounting policies, procedures, and standards
• Work with the executive leadership team to identify challenges and execute financial strategies
• Develop company budgeting policies and oversee the preparation and reporting of periodic budgets
• Present financial statistics and insights to the Board of Directors
• Implement KPIs to evaluate the effectiveness of Finance department activities
• Ensure investment transactions align with accounting systems and reserve management policies
• Oversee the funding framework and ensure sufficiency of levies and fees for operations
• Participate in annual and interim audits
• Lead the development of timely and accurate financial management and statistical reports
• Monitor the maintenance of accounting records and adequate accounting controls
• Provide sound financial assistance to management for business decision-making
• Lead, motivate, and develop subordinates to enhance performance

Requirements

• Bachelor or Master Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Professional accounting or finance qualification (CPA, ACCA) is an advantage
• Proficiency in Arabic and English
• 12+ years of total experience
• 8+ years of experience in a similar leadership role
• 8+ years of working experience in the UAE with familiarity with local market and regulations
