About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee all aspects of Groups & Events Management, including Event Planning, Banquets/Catering, and Event Services
- Maximize event and catering revenues through strategic sales initiatives and up-selling
- Manage the sales efforts for the hotel related to local social catering business
- Develop and manage catering sales revenue and operation budgets
- Build collaborative relationships with property Sales, Marketing, and Food and Beverage teams
- Ensure seamless turnover from sales to operations to deliver high-level service
- Monitor and resolve guest issues arising from the sales process
Requirements
- 4 years experience in sales and marketing, event management, or a related professional area
- OR a 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or a related major
