About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead and support legal affairs for a private equity-backed B2B SaaS company
- Provide practical legal guidance on commercial agreements, corporate governance, employment matters, and dispute resolution
- Draft and negotiate a variety of agreements and partner with Sales and Revenue Operations to structure deals
- Advise on legal issues related to AI, privacy, and information security within the HR technology context
- Continuously improve contract templates and negotiation playbooks
- Support employment and benefits matters and coordinate with external counsel
- Implement legal technology to streamline and scale the contracting process
Requirements
- At least six years of experience in SaaS or technology transactions
- JD from an accredited law school
- Active bar membership
- Strong business judgment and excellent drafting and negotiation skills
- Experience managing a high-volume contract workload
- Familiarity with legal technology and interest in building efficient legal processes
