Director of M&A

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute targeted marketing and outreach strategies to identify acquisition targets across B2B PR, marketing, and digital agencies
• Build and manage campaigns engaging agency founders, owners, and executive decision-makers
• Leverage B2B channels including paid advertising, email, LinkedIn, and content to generate acquisition opportunities
• Proactively identify and pursue acquisition targets and build a qualified prospect pipeline
• Lead initial conversations with prospective targets and assess partnership interest
• Establish KPIs and maintain accurate acquisition pipeline reporting for executive leadership
• Serve as strategic partner to executive leadership on acquisition growth strategy and due diligence support

Requirements

• 7+ years of M&A or acquisitions experience in B2B
• Understanding of acquisition sourcing, business development, and M&A processes
• Strong prospecting and relationship-building skills with senior executives
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Entrepreneurial mindset with hunter mentality and ownership
