About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic oversight for an assigned portfolio of Medicaid EQR contracts
- Serve as senior relationship leader for state Medicaid agencies and managed care entities
- Direct project planning, implementation, and performance monitoring across scope, staffing, schedules, and budgets
- Lead and coach project managers and other assigned staff
- Ensure customer deliverables are accurate, high quality, and submitted on time
- Monitor financial performance, staffing plans, and forecasts with Finance
- Identify and mitigate operational, contractual, staffing, and customer risks
- Lead or support business development activities, including proposals and pricing
Requirements
- Master's degree in healthcare administration, public health, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Minimum eight years of progressively responsible experience in Medicaid, managed care, or healthcare quality
- Minimum five years of management or supervisory experience
- Experience leading multiple contracts or large, complex initiatives
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with state Medicaid agencies or managed care organizations
- Experience supporting proposal development and business growth
